Connect on LinkedIn app with 3 taps
Feb 07, 2023If you’ve ever been to an in-person networking event and run out of business cards, you know what it’s like to awkwardly scramble for a scrap of paper or napkin to share your contact info with someone you just met.
Super professional, right?
Wrong!
Next time, use this handy feature that is built into the LinkedIn smartphone app:
- Have both people open the LinkedIn app on their smartphones.
- Tap the search bar at the top.
- Tap the little icon that appears on the right-hand side (looks like a QR code).
- Have one person tap the ‘Scan’ option and the other keep their QR code visible.
- Scan the code to open the other person’s LinkedIn profile, where you can connect immediately.
